Theresa A. Danno

Theresa Danno (née Terlep), born October 26, 1935, in Chicago, IL, peacefully completed her earthly journey on January 29, 2024, at home in Valparaiso, IN, at the age of 88. Mourning her loss while celebrating her legacy are her beloved children: Michael (Jennifer Carpenter) Danno, Christine Iffland, and Diane (Johnn Kubesh) Walsh. With graceful fortitude, her sister Les Lea (the late George) McGuire endures; and the light of future generations, her grandchildren Katherine (Michael) Fitchie, and Amy (Justin) Camisa, shall carry forth the torch of her memory. Theresa is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, friends, and her endearing feline companions, Jackson and Smokey. She is preceded in the journey to eternal rest by her parents, Anthony Terlep and Gertrude (née Hochevar) Terlep; sister, Gloria Terlep; and brother, Anthony (Louise) Terlep. In the spirit of traditional remembrance and respect, the family of Theresa invites friends and loved ones to join in a celebratory gathering to honor her life. This service will take place on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at St. Leonard Catholic Church, located at 3318 South Clarence Avenue, Berwyn, Illinois. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by Mass at 11 AM. Afterwards, attendees are welcome to continue the remembrance at a luncheon held at European Chalet Banquets, 5445 South Harlem Avenue, Chicago, IL.
