Noell Thompson Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Noell Thompson, age 20, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, formerly Phoenix, Arizona, and Crown Point, IN, passed away suddenly on May 14, 2022. Noell had a thoughtful heart and a wild spirit. She enjoyed listening to music, running, reading, concerts, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her family. She loved adventure and made every day an experience. She lived every day to the fullest. Her presence and smile would light up a room. She had a way of making you laugh in any situation. Noell’s kindness was undying, and the impact she had on others will be everlasting. Noell was a huge Cubs fan and enjoyed watching games with her family. She was a loving and dedicated daughter, sister, aunt, granddaughter, and friend. Noell graduated from Crown Point High School in 2018. She then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Arizona State University, where she graduated in 2020. Noell was working on her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Widener University when she passed. She was also in the process of starting a non-profit organization for human trafficking survivors and justice involved youth. Noell volunteered for numerous organization's including the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona and Arizona Helping Hands. She was a member of the American Psychology-Law Society. She had a passion for helping people and devoted much of her time to doing so. Noell was preceded in death by her great grandmother- Madeline Dowdy and Darlene Kinder and great grandfather- James Dowdy and Charles Marvin Kinder. She is survived by her father- Christopher (Chris) Thompson; mother- Melissa Jackovich; sisters- Kayla Thompson, Brianna Thompson, and Peyton Jackovich; brothers- Garret Thompson and Kyle Thompson; niece- Brooklyn Noell Burton; grandmothers- Joanne Thompson and Brenda Butler; grandfather- Steven Maynard. Noell was loved by so many and will be missed dearly. Her light will be passed on through those that loved her.
