John Hale Corcoran, age 66, of Portage, passed away January 23, 2022. He was born on March 29, 1955 to John W. and Marianna (nee Herrington) Corcoran. John graduated from New Trier East High School in 1973 and then attended Northwestern University from 1974-1977. He worked at the Chicago Board of Trade and Chicago Mercantile Exchange for almost 30 years. John was a brother of the Fraternal Order of the Divine Compassion. He is survived by his wife-Lenore; daughter-Shannon. Services for John were held on February 5, 2022 at St. Francis Church in Chesterton.
