Garry D Borg Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Garry D. Borg, age 72, of Hobart, passed away February 7, 2022, after a brave battle with cancer. Garry was a proud Vietnam veteran with his service as a Navy Seabee. He had many childhood and Vietnam buddies he stayed in contact with throughout the years. His dearest friend was Charles “Chuck” Watson. There were so many stories that I heard from Garry through the years. He was preceded in death by his parents-David “Bud” and Pearl Borg; brother-Brian Borg. Garry will be deeply and sadly missed by his wife-Deborah; daughter-Lisa Borg; mother-in-law-Joann Pavy; brother-in-law-Jim (Mary) Pavy; stepsons-Ray Hopper, James (Rachael) Hopper, Mike (Katy) Richter; grandbabies-Emily and Ben Richter, Leona Hopper; cousins-Paul and Tammy Borg, Diane Birky and Douglas Zaku. Per Garry’s wishes, there will be no services and his cremains will remain with his wife. There will be a celebration of Garry’s life at a later date, which will be updated on the Burns Funeral Home website.
