Lacey Ellen Quigley

Lacey Ellen Quigley, a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2025, at Regency Hospital in Portage, Indiana. She was born on May 31, 1967, in Gary Methodist, and brought joy and warmth into the lives of all who knew her throughout her life, which spanned 58 beautiful years. Lacey was the cherished daughter of Stephen and Lynda Quigley, both of whom preceded her in death, along with her beloved grandparents, Lynn and Delsie Harter, and Philip and Evelyn Quigley. She is also preceded in death by her dear uncle, Lynn Jack Harter. Lacey leaves behind a loving family, including her devoted sister, Leanne (Dan) Huston, and her brother, Mark Quigley. She will be deeply missed by her aunt, Mary Harter, her many cousins, and her precious furbabies, Emmy Lou and Oscar, who were sources of joy and companionship in her life. Lacey was known for her radiant smile that could light up any room and her warm, considerate nature that endeared her to everyone she met. She had a heart of gold, always putting others first and spreading kindness wherever she went. Her interests were as varied as they were fulfilling; she found joy in reading, knitting, cooking, and baking, talents that she often shared with friends and family. Whether it was a freshly baked cake or a knitted blanket, Lacey’s creations were made with love and care, reflecting her generous spirit. Lacey’s warmth and kindness extended beyond her immediate family. She formed deep connections within her community, bringing people together through her engaging personality and loving heart. Her passion for life and her ability to connect with others will leave an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her. A memorial visitation and service to honor Lacey's life will be held at Burns Funeral Home & Crematory 701 East 7th Street Hobart, Indiana 46342 on July 31, 2025. Visitation from 4:00 PM until the time of service at 6:00 PM, Rev. Eduardo Guerra officiating. Friends and family are invited to gather to celebrate her beautiful life, share stories, and remember the light she brought into the world. Lacey Ellen Quigley will be remembered not only for her kindness and creativity but also for the love she shared with her family and friends. Though she has departed from this world, her spirit will continue to shine in the hearts of those she touched. Rest in peace, dear Lacey; you are forever loved and missed.
