Judith Kay (Cunningham) Hamilton age 82 was born to James Eli Cunningham and Ida Mae (Hooten) Cunningham on July 16, 1943. She married the love of her life, James Allen Hamilton on July 10, 1965. “In sickness and in health, until death do us part” was vital to them. Judy was a homemaker and mother, she went to meet her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on December 27, 2025. She passionately loved the Lord and her family. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She was a true woman of God. A phrase to describe her would be “Quiet Warrior.” Some of her hobbies were crocheting, spending time with her family, sticker puzzle books, and puzzles. She belonged to “Warming Hearts Quilting Group.” She fervently prayed that her loved ones would come to know the Lord. She was “Home” to her children. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years James Allen Hamilton, both of her parents, father, James Eli Cunningham, mother, Ida Mae (Hooten) Cunningham. Sister, Patricia Rose, Twin sister, Alice Fay, Sister, Donna Lou Hogue, Brother, George Edward Cunningham. Mother-in-law, Grace Iona Swanson, Step Father-in-law, Earl Allen Swanson, Father-in-law, Joseph Clarence Hamilton, Step Mother-in-law, Helma Hamilton, Sister-in-law Catherine Cunningham. Grandchild, Charles Robert Hamilton. Nieces; Tina, Tammie, Cindy, and nephew; Terry. Her best friend Wanda Smith Judy is survived by her children Allen (Michelle) Hamilton of Hobart, Indiana. Beth (Carl) Ziegler of Brighton, Illinois; Jamie (Fabio) Tome of Chesterton, Indiana; Dawn (Jeff) Rucklos of Chesterton, Indiana; Jason (Jen) Hamilton of Portage, Indiana. Grandchildren: Ryan (Devynn) Hamilton, Pedro (Gessica) Thome, James (Bethany) Ziegler, Dustin McCowan, Brittany Rucklos, Travis (Lucy) Ziegler, Seth (Victoria) Hamilton, Hunter (Audrey) Rucklos, Maria Thome, Connor Rucklos, Brooke Phelps, Noah Hamilton, Jorie Phelps, Amber (Tom) Krause, Jeremy (Alexandria) Rucklos, Kaylin Hamilton. Great Grandchildren: Lara, Bryson, Theo, Esbrook, Elijah, Elias, Adalynn, Emilia, Maddox, Wren, Alora, Remarie, Mason, Luka, Ezekiel, Callum, Baby Girl Rucklos and many nephews & nieces. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family which will be applied to ministries of the family's choice.
