Jamie Beth Mandon

Jamie Beth (Billett) Mandon, age 65, of Valparaiso, IN (formerly Hobart, IN) entered the green pastures and still waters of God’s Kingdom on August 13, 2026, at her home with family by her side. Jamie was born and raised in Indianapolis and was a class of 1979 graduate of Broad Ripple High School. She moved to NWI in 1982 to be with the love her life, husband Robert, and together they raised their son Adam. Jamie devoted her entire life to her family. She never missed a ball game and donated much of her time at Merrillville Little League and Merrillville Community Schools. She enjoyed serving the community working in the healthcare field for over 30 years. She loved traveling across the country and world with Robert yearning to learn and experience everything the world offers. She had a deep love and connection with many genres of music, was an avid reader, enjoyed planting flowers, and cheered hard for the White Sox, Bears, and IU. Later in life, the devotion turned toward her grandchildren, enjoying a unique and special bond with each one. She led a healthy lifestyle taking long walks daily, loved suntanning, and making others laugh. Her faith in Christ was deep, strong, and unwavering. Jamie was preceded in death by her husband of 30 beautiful years, Robert; parents Lowell and Lilas Billett; sister Susan Trull; and in-laws George and Sophie Mandon. Jamie is survived by her son Adam (Lindsay) of Valparaiso; four grandchildren Logan James, Mason Robert, Ella Sophia, and Brody George; sister Rebecca Johnson of Indianapolis; and many loving nieces and nephews.
