Geraldine Tee-Tee Dean Ferguson

Geraldine Ferguson (a.k.a. Tee-Tee Dean) was born to her proud parents: Eddie Mae Ferguson and Robert Lewis Ferguson, Sr. She was the second bundle of joy of this union. Her mother introduced her to Christ at the early age of thirteen. Dean was baptized and became a member of Siloam M.B. Church under the guidance of Pastor W.L. Blackwell. She served faithfully on the combined choir. She also was an active member of Btu, Sunday School, and the culinary department. Throughout her youth, Dean studied God’s ordinance and word to grow closer to her Heavenly Father. Dean attended Faraday Elementary School where she graduated and went to Clemente High School. On April 10, 1987, Dean brought forth into the world her one and only child Jeremy Elijah Ferguson. Nothing made her prouder than to be given the assignment of motherhood. Dean joined Canaan Baptist Church and attended regularly under the instruction and guidance of Pastor Jonathan Brooks. She also taught at the Diamond Academy an after-school program for kids at Canaan. Dean was the favorite auntie of all her nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephew. Through the union of her son Jeremy and his wife (Markesha), Dean was blessed with the title of “Grandma Dean.” She took pride in being an aunt and grandma. Dean’s spirit was that of joy and her greatest joy was making others laugh. She joins her loved ones who preceded her in death: Father, Robert L. Ferguson, Sr.; brother, Ronald L. Ferguson; aunt, Lovie Mae Wilkerson and aunt, Ruby Baker. She leaves to cherish her memories, her mother, Eddie Mae Ferguson; her son, Jeremy Ferguson; her daughter-in-love, Markesha Hollins-Ferguson; sisters: Kimberly Gatewood (Leon) and Pennella Ferguson; brother, Robert L. Ferguson, Jr.; sister-in-law, Moia Gambleand her beautiful granddaughters: Ma’Kayah Arrington, Mariyah Arrington, and Mya Hollins and Marion Walton ( Jeremy's Dad); her nieces: Geneva Young (Andrew), Whitney Ferguson, Keai Gatewood, Regine Stanford, and Chakarrah Ferguson; her nephews: Leon (Lee) Gatewood, Jarnell (BJ) Gatewood, and Malcolm Ferguson; great nieces: Aaliyah , Akeelah, Alyssa and great nephew, Andrew Young Jr. Dine also leaves to cherish her memories her aunts: Jerline Horne (Julius), and Gloria Huffman; uncles, Larry Baker and Richard (Joyce) Baker. Dean leaves a host of cousins, friends, church members and loved ones to cherish her memory. A memorial service will be held at Siloam Missionary Baptist Church at a later date.
