Hannah Elizabeth Martin

Hannah Elizabeth Martin, age 30, passed away August 6, 2020 at home with family by her side. She was born October 23, 1989, in Fort Wayne, IN to Bob Martin and Jennifer Gant Bouchard. She is survived by her parents Bob Martin and Jennifer Gant Bouchard, stepmother Andrea (nee Kunas) Martin, Grandfather Donald Gant, sisters Caitlin, Madeline and Rachel Martin, as well as numerous Uncles, Aunts and cousins. She also leaves behind beloved boyfriend Conor Zoller. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Peggy Gant, and Bill and Helen Martin. She was a graduate of Lincoln-Way East high school and went on to obtain her undergraduate degree at Loyola University, and Dr. of Chiropractic degree from National University. She maintained a practice at Back to Health Chiropractic and Acupuncture in Southbury, CT. Hannah Banana, as many knew her, was a beautiful soul who cherished her family and friends and the time she could spend with them. She had an outgoing personality that was like a magnet that attracted people to her, and she made many friends. Her smile and laughter brightened any room she entered. And the hug that followed made you feel loved. Hannah also liked her alone time and used it to devour books as she had an unquenchable appetite for the written word. Hannah was a free spirit who lived life to the fullest. She loved the outdoors, sports, and the arts. She enjoyed snowboarding, camping, and riding her bicycle. She played the guitar and enjoyed going to concerts. She loved animals, especially dogs, almost as much as she loved gummy bears. Her inner strength and energy allowed her to meet and overcome many challenges in her life. We were not ready for Hannah to leave and she will be dearly missed, but we were blessed to have her in our lives and we take comfort in the memories we have and the happiness she brought. A memorial visitation will take place Saturday, August 29, 2020 from 10 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 1:30 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway, Crown Point, IN.
